Nana looked up from washing dishes at the sound of the knock. "Tsu-kun?" She called, setting a now-clean plate in the drying rack. "Could you get the door?

From upstairs, Tsuna set down his pencil, halfway through a new set of work books Reborn had set for him. "I will." He adjusted his shirt and made his way out, dodging Lambo and I-pin as they ran past and heading down the stairs to finally reach the door. "Sorry for the wait." He pulled the door open and smiled upon seeing Rene. "Come on in."

rene smiled and walked in takeing her shoes off "so do you even understand the homework?" she asked rubbing her neck as she really didnt get it

Tsuna rubbed the back of his head and laughed a bit. "Well, which homework? We had some from almost every class." He motioned for her to follow him up to his room as he turned towards the stairs.

"Ah," Tsuna bit his bottom lip lightly and shrugged nonchalantly. "Um, sort of?" He opened the door to his room for her. "Sorry for the mess." Though he said there was a mess, his room wasn't truly all that messy. The worst of it was a bag of spilled Hershey's over by the foot of his bed (courtesy of Lambo earlier that day). He sat down at his desk again, crossing his legs as he picked up his work books and put them away before pulling out the history text book. "Which section was it again?"

rene sat down and pulled out her books "um 13 i think" she said her cat jinx jumped out of her bag and on to her head rene sighed and pulled out all the work from that day she smiled as she looked at her completed math work knowing full well tsunas wasnt done

Tsuna rifled through the pages until he got to the thirteenth section of the book, tapping his index finger lightly against the title. "And we only do up to ten on the questions, right?" His eyes stayed focused on the title as he reached back for some paper, while he tried to remember what the discussion had been on this particular chapter. He wasn't as bad in history as he was in his other subjects, which he found quite strange but preferred not to think about lest he jinx himself. His gaze flickered to Rene's cat and he smiled.

"hai" rene said picking the cat off her head she sat her down and graded her binder from her bag she fliped to the free paper and fliped in her book to section 13 "hmm~" she hmmed as she found the page

"Mm, okay. Let's see..." Tsuna flipped the page to the questions and quickly read the first one. "Okay, the American Revolution..." He frowned lightly as he skimmed the first page of the section again. "We're supposed to list the reasons as to why it started..."

Tsuna nodded, smiling at her. "Yeah, and because of taxation. The Americans didn't like how much Britain was taxing them, without representation." He jotted down a sentence on his paper for the question, messy handwriting adorning the blue lines of his paper.

rene nodded and started to write her curly letters flowing down to paper like water as an hour past they found them selfs at the math part of there homework rene giggled "im done tsuna-san what about you?" she asked

Tsuna flushed, shaking his head. "Uh, no..." He scratched the back of his head bashfully as he pulled out the worksheet. It was filled only a fourth of the way. "Gokudera-kun was helping me a bit, but...we didn't get very far, and I don't understand a lot of it."

rene shook her head "its fine tsuna ok .." she trailed off pointing to the cube "suface area of a cube is 6s so all u do is take 4 and muliply it times 6 get it?" she said her eyes sparkling in amusment as tsuna struggled to understand

"Okay... Take four... Divide... No, you said multiply. Multiply by six... Twenty-four?" Tsuna looked up at her for confirmation. He really was terrible at math.

rene noded "hai now because they are all cubes.." she cotinued and 2 hours later they were done rene smiled at tsuna "now we're done!" she said all happy

Tsuna let his pencil drop onto his worksheet and stretched, smiling widely. "Thank you so much, Rene! I'm sorry it took so long." He scratched his cheek before standing and stretching out his legs. "Would you like to stay for dinner? My mom won't mind."

rene blushed "oh sure if your sure she wont mind" she said standing up she looked to tsunas bed and giggled "looks like jinx loves ur bed" she said jinx was sprawled oput on tsuna's bed asleep

Tsuna looked over and smiled. "It's okay. Natsu does the same thing, too." He laughed and made his way to the door. "Let me go tell her you'll be staying and see if dinner's ready."

Almost as if on cue, Nana called up, "Tsu-kun, dinner! Bring your friend down, too."

Tsuna smiled and opened the door for Rene, laughing lightly. "Guess she's one step ahead of me."

Tsuna smiled in return, coming down the stairs with her. "It might be a little...rowdy at the table, so... I'll apologize now for it." He laughed a bit awkwardly, scratching his cheek as he listened to the yells of Lambo coming from the kitchen.

Tsuna nodded sheepishly. "Okay." He entered the kitchen with her, smiling at Lambo and I-pin already eating and fussing about with their food. "Mom, this is Rene. Rene, this is my mom."

Nana turned from the stove, wiping her hands clean from the grease. "Hello, Rene. It's nice to meet you. Have a seat, and make yourself comfortable." She set about to gathering another set of plates and piling them with food for Rene and Tsuna.
